  • Basic head change and first time tune up for most drums. Includes removing old head, wiping debris away, installing and balancing new head. 

  • Basic head change for most Congas and Bongos.

  • Complete head change and tuning of authentic goatskin/ rope tuned style djembes and other hand drums. We also offer this service for drums with mechanical style hardware.

  • Thorough cleaning for the entire drum. Includes removing and polishing hardware, cleaning all surfaces of the shell, removing all dust/ debris, and conditioning treatment for unfinished surfaces. 

  • Thorough cleaning for every part of the stand/ pedal. Includes removing all dust/ dirt, polishing, and lubrication of moving parts. Includes rust removal from metal components, however there may still be some evidence of pitting left in chrome components which can not be removed.

  • Basic set up for most snare assemblies and snare wires. Includes lubricaing throw off, centering the wires, balancing tension, and adjusting slack for optimal performance. 

  • Complete overhaul of a drum's bearing edges. This service presents the opportunity to completely restore to factory original style edges, or create a new custom shape edge entirely. Includes professional leveling and alignment of bearing edges. Open the true character of your drum and create a seamless tuning experience that will change the way your drum sounds.

  • Maintenance service/ repair of a drum’s existing bearing edge. Includes gap filling, delamination repair, hand shaping, and conditioning treatment. 

  • Cutting of custom size holes in kick drum reso head. Allows for quick and easy mic placement. Includes installation of any type of edge guard purchased separately.

  • Installation of any piece of drum hardware that requires new holes to be drilled.

  • Replacement of any part of drum hardware that does not require new holes to be drilled.

  • Replacement of any part of a stand or pedal. Includes lubrication of any moving parts.

  • Removal and reinstallation of new wrap covering. We can almost always match the original finish, custom options are also available upon request.

  • This category catches any work done to a drums existing surface finish. For example: scratch removal, buffing/ polishing, sealing, dent removal. Custom finish work is also available upon request.

  • Structural repair for most wooden shells/ hoops. Common cases are cracked bass hoops, delaminated re-rings, and cracks around existing hardware mounting holes.

  • Plugging and filling of existing holes/ gaps in most wooden shells/ hoops. Commonly used to fill extra holes sometimes found in vintage drums.

  • Cut down/ shorten your drum shells. While the diameter of a drum can’t be changed the depth can, this service allows you to take a longer shell and make it shorter, altering the sound of your drum permanently. Options may be limited due to existing hardware/ holes. Includes cutting and leveling of new bearing edge(s).

  • Installation of new or replacement of existing re-rings. Includes cutting and fitting of re-rings, shaping and leveling new bearing edge(s). Painting/ finish matching falls under the separate “Finish Repair/ Modification” service and is available for an additional charge.

  • Convert most single sided drums to a two head configuration with separate batter and reso heads. Options may be limited due to existing hardware and drum construction. Includes layout and installation of all new hardware, cutting and leveling new bearing edge(s), and installation of new head and hardware. Installation of a new re-ring falls under the separate “Re-Ring Install/ Repair” service and is available for an additional charge.

  • Convert most styles of toms to include a functional snare assembly. Includes shaping and installation of snare beds, layout and installation of new hardware and wires, and snare set up. 

  • Convert most styles of floor toms to include spurs and a lift to facilitate kick drum style playing. Works for toms 16” and up. Includes layout and installation of new spur hardware and lift set up.
